I only met one professor who insisted that you address him as "Dr. xxxx".
He was one of the nicest guys I ever had in college, but he was really hung
up on that title.  However, I have seen a lot of job postings and
publications that require MBA or MA degrees before they will even consider
you, so having this acronym after your name has merit.

 

Whether you are qualified for a given position or publication requires the
review of your entire background and that is where the resume, references,
and interview(s) come in.

Any resume or LinkedIn request where the person has "MBA" or "MA" at the end
of his/her name gets permanently deleted/ignored/blocked. Under "Education"
is fine. HUGE pet peeve of mine.
