A DCS client has to support X.25 over an ISDN line with a customer in Europe.

They installed an ISDN line and purchased an X.25 capable ISDN Modem (3Com ISDN
PRO TA). This modem supports X.25 only with AO/DI (Always On/Dynamic ISDN)
dial up service. This employs the D-Channel (signaling channel) to manage the
connection and provide some data bandwidth with the B-Channels available for
additional bandwidth. This approach also requires a third phone number in
addition to the two assigned to each of the B-Channels according to the modem
documentation.

If you are familiar with ISDN and X.25 and able to help, please contact Peter
Clay. Our customer would like to have a conversation with a resource that has
some experience with ISDN and X.25 so that he can assess what he has purchased
and what alternatives he might consider. The hourly rate is $75 with a minimum
payment of $600.

Please contact Peter at [email protected] Thank you.
