Guy Fieri annoys me.... he's a bigoted bozo with bad bleaching.... But he
is at least successful at marketing himself....
And yes, you're right, it's Belgian to do the mayo & fries.... And they
also tend to use malt vinegar with the fish n chips.....
Dang it! Now I'm wanting fries (chips) with garlic butter... or malt
vinegar ... or .... Oh! Chili and cheese...!
Have a great day!

Re: <OFF-TOPIC> Condiments for fries
I just read a story about Guy Fieri - when he was in college, to save money
to buy beer, he would just buy plain fries, apply the free buffalo sauce
from
the condiment bar, and buy 50 cents worth of blue cheese. Fire!
And the story also mentioned his wasabi buffalo wings that they serve in
the
restaurants.
What - no garlic?
I'm happy with just a bucket of red veg.

No!! You are thinking of Belgium. In the UK red (ketchup) or brown
(preferably HP) sauce is used for chips[1]

Chris
[1] In the UK fries are called chips, chips are called crisps.
