Also very good for every citizen: "Logical Self-Defense", by a couple of
faculty members at the University of Windsor (Ontario, Canada, across the
river from Detroit) whose names elude me. Uses lots of examples culled
from the public press of errors in logical thinking. Some of the errors
are essentially statistical; but even the ones that aren't ought to be
in every teaching statistician's armamentarium of bad examples.
