Paul,

You are wrong. I have consistently and repeatedly stated the assumptions of
CR. Over and over people have attempted to invalidate it by violating those
assumptions. Even when their violations are pointed out, they go on to
interpret their findings as though they were valid tests, both on this
newlist and on others. Such interprations are fraudulent. Why do you ignore
these facts? I would think that a person who is involved with children would
be concerned about the validity of the methods used to treat them. It is
your responsibility to conduct ethical research and to fight against fraud.
You have made no efforts to correct the abuses I have endured on this
newslist and you show no interest in the evidence supporting the fraud by
Marcoulides and Erlbaum. Whats the matter. Are you trying to publish in
Erlbaum empire?

I should explain why I use the term Oedipal strivings. The Oedipus complex
is described by Freud as the young boy's over extension of himself. He wants
to perform as an adult and fancies his mother as his equal. In this case,
sceince is the mother and I am the bad father figure... demonized as a
villian. But Oedipus has not incorporated the values that focus behavior
along ethical channels. The person with an Oedipal complex lives in a soap
opera and drags others down into it. They have not developed an adquate
superego and generally act like immature brats. They deny the importance of
truth, seeking to hold up power and influence as the best guides for
conduct. They use charm instead of truth. They do not argue logically but
prefer innuendo and other loose thought processes, such as stereotypes and
relativism, in order to deal with their castration anxieties. They are
essentially driven to see what they can get away with and they exploit other
people's guilt and maternal feelings as a means of escaping punishment.
Going to Dr Dietz was going to mom. Calling me a James Bond movie villian is
demonizing the father figure. Misleading people about the appropriateness
of their data did not seem unethical to them because they are essentially
amoral characters who do not believe in truth, goodness or fair play. The
see themselves as cute little pretty boys showing off for the girls and for
other psychopaths such as themselves.

You are falling into this same pattern of behavior. You are not questionning
data, you are questionning personality. You are avoiding logic while being
angry that I can play the personality assault game just as well or better
than people like you. This is the sort of stuff that high school teachers
have to deal with all the time. Brats in revolt against the unpleasant
reality of their immaturity, incompetence, amorality and incontinence.

If you want to exchange personality jabs, I would be happy to do so with you
in private. I have a degree in personality psychology and I have known a lot
people. I have especially had experience dealing with incompetent
psychopathic people parading themselves as scientists. I think I can handle
you. Unfortunately, I do not think the sick children you are paid to help
can depend on your expertise. You waste valuable time that could be spent
learning better research methods by poking a lion that you can not handle. I
would have thought UT could do better than you but corruption, incompetence
and stupidty are everywhere.

Can you think of any contexts in which we might help children if we could
infer causation from correlation? Do you have anything of substance to say
about CR. Exactly where am I wrong, about the mathematics and philosophy of
science?
