anyTIME time is along the baseline ... or some variable that can be thought of as time ... (trials for example) ... you have a time series ..

the ? of course is whether there is any pattern in your time series data ... maybe yes ... maybe no

even if no ... doesn't mean it is NOT a time series "design" it's just that you can't make any systematic sense out of it ... ie, no systematic model seems to work
