Hello again and thank you for your replys, they were very useful for me. No matter what I do (be that statistics or graphs) I only find a very weak correlation, so I guess I'll have to change my thesis or simply start from scratch with another subject. As I haven't used statistics myself for almost five years, it takes quite some time using the programs now, be that SAS or SPSS (and my knowledge of statistics seems to have gone too). Maybe I'll just stick to my policy analysis for the time to come and only do some graphs using a spread sheet once in a while ;)
