I'm confident that SPSS 9 will do 2-way ANOVA, but I am not confident that is the appropriate analysis. You might need a three-way mixed ANOVA or MANOVA -- stratum x group x (time x subjects). There are lots of places on the net where you can find instructions for using SPSS for such analyses, including http://core.ecu.edu/psyc/wuenschk/SPSS/SPSS-Lessons.htm
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 28, 2003 4:48 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Immediate and delayed pretest-posttest stratified sample I have a data set where n=30 and it is stratified into three groups of approx 10 each. Within each group there is an immediate group and a delayed group. Measurements were taken at baseline, three months, six months, and some at nine months and twelve months. The data is both ordinal and integer/ratio. I was told that I need to run a 2-way ANOVA to analyze this but the software at the school (SPSS 9.0) will not run a 2-way ANOVA. Help! :-) Dave_PT . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . ================================================================= . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . =================================================================
