Dear All,
I am looking for an illustrative example of "Run test" (which tests
whether a sequence of numbers might be random or not). I went through
Gibbons,J.D.(1971, ch.3, p.54) but cannot figure out how r=r1+r2 can
be related to n=n1+n2.
Can anyone please post a short numerical example of this Run test and
explain the rejection region?
Also, does any Statistical package provides this test of randomness?
I could not find any table on this.
Any response / help / comment / suggestion / web-referrence will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
