Hi folks,
I'm thinking about going back to graduate school. I'd appreciate
anyone's opinion about a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati's
Math department, with a concentration in statistics and probability.
I'd also like to know what you think of the career prospects for
someone, say, 57 or 58 years old with a fresh Ph.D. in statistics
and a couple of M.S. degrees in the physical sciences. Is it worth
pursuing a Ph.D. (apart from the personal satisfaction) and giving
up a fairly good job, or would I probably end up as a very well
educated middle-aged pizza delivery guy when I was finished with
school? TIA.
Regards,
Russell
