I've seen this argument (no such thing as bisexuality) coming from social liberals.  
It appears that there is (or at least was) a belief that admiting the possiblity of 
bisexuality diminishes the legitimacy of homosexuality.  

I'm not sure if that is current thinking, or it was ever more than a small group 
thinking that, but it did exist for a while.
