>From my limited exposure the biggest problem to getting FOSS adopted in Educational environments (and indeed anywhere else as well) is: 1) The fear of the unknown 2) Lack of skill and knowledge and indeed confidence to install 3) Lack of available support A 'Just Works' solution would be very helpful, and will assist with all 3 points, but reliable and prolific support is going to be required, and soon.
