Schooltool is being developed in South Africa by the Shuttleworth Foundation along with Ubuntu Linux distro. I have a meeting with Mark Shuttleworth in August. One of the key issues is in how eay it is to make SchoolTool fit the requirements of English schools. Since SchoolTool is still being developed, its not too surprising that BECTA did not come across it, but even when developed it will need to be tailored to meet specific requirements in specific countries. It will be interesting to see how easy it is to do this. -- Ian Lynch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ZMSL --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
