Greetings! My apologies, but I am new to the Open edX platform. I have a situation where I have a student's email address that I can report out via the "Click to generate a CSV file that lists learners who can enroll in the course but have not yet done so." option in "Data Download". However, I have the following situation:
1. The student does not remember the username associated with the email. 2. When the student invokes the "Forgot password?" functionality they receive an error of "No user with the provided email address exists." Based on my research I can remove users with the Python CLI, but I need both the username and the email. I only have the email. I've searched the forum, but haven't found an answer. How can I accomplish this using the CLI/API (I would rather not manipulate the DB directly)?
