You can set network device priority using the NWAM GUI as described in part 5 of the troubleshooting guide at http://opensolaris.org/os/project/nwam/picea/troubleshooting/ This feature was recently added to OpenSolaris in build 100, so I would recommend upgrading to the 2008.11 release if you haven't already done so.
