Efw 2.4.1 no longer has the sip proxy, but I used to use it and I'm not sure if it helped with that problem, but I remember having the same problem in the past.
I use trixbox, and after an address change my sip trunk would stop working. And having trixbox running the dynamic dns updater never helped, so I run DynDNS Updater on a windows server now. I told my trunk provider about the problem, and they gave me the proper settings for my conf files and the problem no longer occurs, that I know of.
