Even though there was no [ANN], no <vendor> </vendor>, nor apology for
spamming via a not so subtle segue, I had a passing interest until I saw the
proud mention of (U.S. Patent #xxxxxxx)  As a matter of principle, I don't
deal with ( and work to keep clients away from ) software companies that go
after the market via patents unless there is no other choice.  While I
understand the ignorance and other possible factors influencing the patent
office, we as developers should always be opposed to a practice so harmful
to our industry and its consumers as software and algorithm patents.
