Yes, you are using JMS as the underlying backbone for cache synchronization.  
Persistence PowerTier (5.0.3.5) uses TIBCO for that very same purpose.  However, the 
cache is not held in SSB.

Yes, it would break the one-client/one-SSB requirement.  You would have to hold the 
cache in a mechanism outside of the SSBs which all SSBs access.  An intermediary 
between the SSBs and the Entity beans.  I believe this is somewhat close to the 
PowerTier architecture.
