Alright, I actually have two questions. I am in the process of setting up an entirely Linux-based development infrastructure and will be using EJBoss as our ejb server. We previously were running our in-progress application under NT, MS SQL server, JRun and IIS. We are planning on converting to Linux, some DB, Jakarta and Apache.

My questions are as follows. I have read quite a bit about multiple open-source DB's. I like MySql(and it comes with an open source pure java driver: mm.MySql), but I'm not sure that it will be able to handle the load of our application. I think that InterBase is the right DB for us, but I can't seem to find and opensource drivers for it. Anyone have any ideas where I can get a driver for InterBase. Also, what do the readers think about MySql?

Thanks.
