Its EJB 1.1 compliant.
it is in RC1 and fairly stable. Not open source, but it is 100% pure java.

Subject: recommendations for ejb servers
Hi - I'm new to this list so apologies if this question has been asked
before:
I'm looking for recommendations on a good, stable ejb server, criteria
are:
1. Preferably free (for development - don't mind paying for commercial
use)
2. Preferably open source
3. Preferably written in 100% java
4. Fully J2EE compliant
5. Needs to run on NT and Linux (although that's taken given point 3)
Any ideas?
Cheers
