According our experience it is still very difficult to find EJB components
on the Internet. Most of the sites, and esspecially the sites you mention
actually offer any type of software, and only very few EJB's. Then we found,
that EJB's are rarely properly categorized.
These problems we try to solve, and what is also important, we are using
EJB's ourselves in the site. The site is also relatively independent of one
company (we have several sponsors). Further it will be possible for
freelancers to offer components and to bid on projects requesting
components. Initially all services are free, but, you are right, in future
we have to charge because we cannot survive at the banners alone... Basic
services will remain free however...

concerning EJB component frameworks, let us know what you want, I am pretty
sure we can help you here...
