Hi,

cmp 1.1 is limited, but does offer some nice features, like less development
time.  You should be able to also have your own jdbc calls (in ejbRemove(),
ejbCreate(), etc.).  E.g., if you have your person entity bean with many
addresses you could model the person entity bean as cmp and have the address
dependent objects be loaded/save/remove with your own jdbc calls.  So I'm
curious how many people actually use this approach.  I can see some issues
if the cmp mechanism is fairly sophisticated and does some caching/dirty
detection.  This is mainly for when you don't/can't get a good O/R product.
