Theoretically yes, practically no. Concurrent calls made to the shared
ref will be routed to different instances on the server so you should be
fine.

The theoretic possibility is when a remote reference is actually
physically coupled to a particular instance of the server, which would
be a valid implementation of EJB. An incredibly stupid implementation,
but valid.
