i'm resending this request. Need ur suggession.
my company is looking to build a webfront connecting its consumers and suppliers.
my management has asked me to come up with a low cost solution that can be implemented
in 4 weeks times. I have a team of developers with good knowledge in Java . We lack
the necessary knowledge and exposure to utilizing the j2EE reference implementation
for building this solutions. I was hoping if you can help me with identifying ready
made architectures available in the market free/commercial which can be used to build
my solution.
I have outlined a few requirements for the architecture and they are as follows
Requirements for the architecture:
1. Multiple channel/device delivery ( same business logic and the
application flow should be accessible from different Medium/devices)
eg. i have a user authentication component accessed through web
front( web browser) and on wireless devices like wap, J2ME
enabled devices, PDA's etc.
2. Should have easy configuring mechanisms ( GUI based User managers, easy
configuration facilities, etc.)
3. The architecture leaning curve should be very minimum.( happy if it is ZERO ..:) )
4. Easy maintenance facilities. ( like Error logging and indication, etc.)
5. Provide utilities pertained to ecommerce projects. ( like date manipulation,
currency converters, etc.)
6. Standardized error handling mechanism ( display of user input errors )
