Hi,

ArgoUML is an open source CASE tool that produces UML diagrams and a UML
object model in XMI (XML metadata interchange) format (all zipped into a
*.zargo file). There is a generator called "UML2EJB" which can read XMI
files and produce EJBs from the model - quite comfortable.

So, use ArgoUML (or its commercial, quality-improved derivative called
"Poseidon") to model your classes, then generate EJBs from it with UML2EJB.

Hope this helps...
Matthias

P.S.: I happen to be the initial author of UML2EJB. Meanwhile, we are a team
of several developers and are still looking for testers for our generator.
Do you wanna participate?
