No I don't have "Automatically answer incoming calls" switched on Yes, It is a hang (freeze). And I don't think https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=697738. is a duplicate since it is related to video call hang. Whereas I am encountering this issues while making audio call only.
