Hi All,
  it has worked out really well... the speaker is just a small oval but it 
doesn't have the same efficiency that the Elecraft K2 speaker has... so you 
have to turn the audio up higher for the same volume,but facing forward right 
at you makes up for some of that difference.
    I was going to stick a small audio amp in the case and decided it was 
easier to buy another K2 speaker  and make a new plastic mounting plate to 
hold it... 

 the power supply is a Samlex sec1223 which has been fine so far running the 
K2/100.
