This is great to hear -- I'm going for my General in a couple of weeks, and am looking forward to trying CW ops. The K1 is right at the top of my list (the wife says I need to pass the tests before I can order it though :). I already have a Heathkit HW-7 I picked up on eBay last year. No idea if it even works correctly yet. I have hooked it up to a long wire and heard CW on it, but of couse I haven't tested the transmit yet.
