DxLabs is good and Free!

DxKeeper is the logging module, comprehensive, good QSL management.

Commander is the remote control part of the suite. It is basic but works well and you can set up the macros do do quite a bit. See the K2 Programmers Reference, on the Elecraft site, for the necessary commands.

It also has a PSK module WinWarbler

MixW and Digipan both work for PSK31 with the K2

The HRD PSK31 superbrowser is pretty impressive to watch. I think that HRD falls down in the logging department.

There are bridging module to use MixW, HRD data in the DxLabs DxKeeper logbook.

Now that I have the KIO2 installed I'm anxious to test it out. I see quite a long list of programs that provide support for the K2. Just wondering what is your favorite such program and why? I don't (at least initially plan to) do remote control over the network, but that would be slick someday (would I get any work done then?). I mostly would be interested in controlling various features of the radio, some of which may be easier via computer control than from the front panel, ability to grab the frequency & mode for logging, and set up scanning parameters (upper/lower frequency limits or scanning memories).
I also plan to use computer interface to a Rigblaster for PSK31. Was planning
on running the latest version of DigiPan, but I see that Ham Radio Deluxe has
it built in as well. I've heard great things about HRD. Do folk here concur?

Thanks for your input!
