After all the market research, it comes down to intuition. Eric and I asked a simple question. How cool would be it be if we could pack 500 watts+ and a ultra-low-noise linear supply into an enclosure the same size as the K3? The answer was obvious to us as well as to our focus group. We knew it wouldn't be easy, but our talented engineering team-- many of them serious DXers and contesters--jumped at the opportunity.
