I have beta firmware 4.10 and I just went through your procedure below. Mine tracks correctly. I get the correct numbers. I seem to recall some text about what you report some while back, so it seems it has had some attention paid to it. Does not sound like it's keeping you from hearing anything or adjusting it. But you can try the beta version:
