Do you need to key the radio with the RS-232 flow control lines? The K3 CONFIG:PTT-KEY menu item can be set to OFF OFF unless you're using a program that requires it...

And of course when I power up the K3 in the morning I always am forgetting to put it into tx-test mode. Thus my question. Is there a means by which I can force the K3 to come up in tx-test mode? This could be a setting which I've overlooked, or perhaps some sort of "start programs" list that is only executed at K3 reboot.
