I'm reminded of a Field Day a few years ago where tested , tried and true antennas suddenly didn't work anymore ... bad SWR's all over the place, goofy noises, etc. etc. Re-tested with different analyzers and dummy loads ... they checked out fine... so what's going on when connecting extra coax extensions??? Nobody suspected those brand new "unbadged" double female coax barrels. We didn't bother to dissect them ... just threw them in the lake.
