Jim, you might try a virtual serial port program called Com0com. It is open source and free. I have installed it and tried to get it to work, but haven't fooled with it long enough to give it a full critique. It does install and it does create pairs of virtual serial ports. The ports do appear in the port list of your software. That's all I can attest. I tried briefly to send data out of one of the virtual ports and receive it on the other, but it didn't work the first try, and I got distracted by a different problem and never tried again.
Anyway, it's worth a try. Others report success with it. Plenty of info at: http://com0com.sourceforge.net/ <http://com0com.sourceforge.net/>Good luck, Tony KT0NY On Sat, Apr 30, 2011 at 9:10 PM, Jim Campbell <j...@w4bqp.net> wrote: > A while back I asked a question about physically splitting the K2 serial > control cable..... ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
