I am attempting to use CAT commands to program the K3 to go into something I call remote or local mode (using HRD with macros assigned to buttons)
Basically, remote mode switches the MIC to Line in and sets the compression to 0. What is missing is to set PTT. Local mode, switches MIC to front panel and sets compression to 15. What is missing is to set VOX. Now I can use the SWH09 command but this is a toggle. It works, but if I was to inadvertently press one Remote or Local twice in a row, then the VOX gets switched again and this will lead to an indeterminate state where I won't know what is happening. As I am using the SignaLink USB interface, it uses hardware PTT and this can occur when VOX is enabled, which may cause some issues. Now, it seems that the VX command is only a Get. Can anyone suggest a work around?
