I don't know why anyone would spend that kind of money for Heil gear when there are better, cheaper, and more reliable alternatives. Buy a decent quality microphone boom (check out your local musician supply store) and almost ANY decent quality electret computer microphone. A $15 computer mic will sound as good on the K3 as any Heil mic.
