MCU version 4.51 is on our production FTP site, where the K3 Utility finds it.

The latest firmware files will be copied from an Elecraft file server to your Local folder for firmware files. Then the firmware versions available in your Local folder for firmware files are compared with the versions installed in your K3. I just did this and my K3 Utility fetched the current firmware from Elecraft's web site. Does your Internet Explorer show a similar directory when you go to URL: ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/K3/firmware? If not, perhaps you have a stale internet cache. Use the Control Panel applet, Internet Options, and "delete temporary files".
