Hi Rick, Yes I've tried PSK-D and FSK-D. And yes the keyboard caps lock light does go on. I'm not sure what you mean by an asterisk in the status box but no there is no asterisk on either the large monitor or the P3. I did plug and unplug the keyboard.
I'm not going to pursue this further as I'm happy with PC software control of RTTY and PSK.
