HI All I have a KX3, #262.
I have an issue and I wonder if others have found the same, It's in relation to the ENCODER. There is a distinct noise as you turn the tuning knob and it is seems to be frequency sensitive. On the Bands from 1.8 to 10MHz there is No noise. On the Bands from 14 to 21MHz there is Light " rasping " noise. On the Bands 24MHz and 28MHz the noise Doubles to Medium. On the 50MHZ the rasping noise is double that on 28MHz and is Very annoying. The encoder I have in my KX3 is the one which is not soldered to the PC Board. Anyone else have these symptoms?
