Hmm, I'm not sure that's a reasonable assumption - the manual is
telling you that there are some menu items that you'll need for some
calibration procedures that are only accessible in "tech mode", but
that doesn't necessarily mean that the calibration logic is linked to
"tech mode" - it may be; I just would make the assumption......
