The K3/0 uses, for 12V input, the RCA jack that's normally the 12V accessory output on a K3. This is not ideal, in that it leaves the "hot" 12V line exposed on the pin of he male RCA plug when it's not connected, but I suppose the intent was to use the existing K3 metalwork.
