Whatever AV program you use, doesn't mean you are not subject to a virus loaded by script via email or an infected web site. I do computer work as a part time effort and I spend a lot of time cleaning systems. Try downloading an additional program such as Malwarebytes to run a scan. You don't need to do more than do a trial version. Once loaded I usually uninstall and then download a new version once I get odd behavior on my PC. There are other programs to use. The key here is not to have a multitude of AV programs running at once or you will run into additional problems. If you need more help email me privately and we'll go from there.
