Sorry to hear that. I guess I misunderstood what I was told at Visalia. I filled out an order form ($4500) near the end of the exhibit time but didn't place the order because I wasn't sure about the filters I wanted and said at the time I wanted to take advantage of a possible Dayton special. True I didn't say I'd be at Dayton but nobody asked if I would be at Dayton. As I said earlier I go to Dayton every other year and last year I bought a Icom 7700. A couple of months ago I purchased a Icom 7410 as a backup and haven't even taken it out of the box because of a couple of my friends said I really need to look the K3. Between that and couple of the seminars at Visalia sold me on the K3 but it would have been an impulse purchase at the time and I don't do that. That's why I choose to wait. Over the years I've made a few purchases after Dayton and got the Dayton deal when I asked for it. Maybe next year when I come to Dayton again I'll still be in the mood for K3.
