Hi Mike, The SVGA card uses an embedded VGA controller. This means that we're
limited to two possible pixel clocks for the 1920x1080 resolution. Some
monitors cannot sync to the pixel clocks and this causes the display to show
the two black areas you noticed.    Try setting manual mode on your monitor
if it has the capability or try using a different monitor.   We've had very
good results using Acer monitors.  73, Paul
