Hi Jim, 

#1) Try turning off the auto mode on your monitor.  The P3/SVGA may be
outputting a pixel clock that is incompatible with your monitor.  Also, just
as a test, change the P3/SVGA resolution down to 1024x768 and see if the
screen fills correctly.   

#2) Currently there is no way to display a steady VFO B frequency while text
decode is on.  When the VFO B knob is turned, the display will briefly show
the new frequency, but will then revert back to the decoded text.  However
if DISP is pushed, the display will show the alternate measurement,clock
etc. 

Various:  I really like the K360 wireless keyboard from Logitech.  They are
inexpensive and work extremely well.
