Hi I was wondering if anyone else has this issue: I have the KX3 and the KXPA100 connected through the wiring kit and I am connecting to the combo with Ham Radio Deluxe or Win4K3Suite. If I go to 17m, and the software is running I can literally hear the serial commands in my headphones. It sounds like tons of clicks, and chirping noises on 17M only. I also hear it on 12m but much quieter.It also shows up on the s-meter as an s-5 pulsing. If I turn off the KXPA100, the noise goes away. I have tried a different serial port cable connected to a different port and there is no difference.
It is definitely coming from the KXPA100. I never had this before I installed the amp. Can anyone here confirm to me if this is just my setup or are other experiencing the same issues?
