Someone posted earlier about wanting band stacking registers in a new K4. Band stacking registers are very nice, but with the KPA 500 you can automatically switch from band to band" right now" with no problem.

Then, with the M1 to M4 per band memory buttons you can select any of four different saved frequencies per band. It takes two button presses to get to the saved freq., AFTER you have made your band selection using the amp.

Just press M-V then M1 , M2, M3. or M4 on your chosen band and all your settings will pop up for that frequency. This is really not too bad when you consider with band stacking registers you may have to press more than once to get where you want to go, you may even have to press three times on the band stacker of a particular band to get where need to be.

Another advantage using M-V is that with band stacking registers, your frequency setting will be left in a different spot more than likely so it will never be actually "saved" as far as the exact frequency is concerned. With M1 thru M4 your exact frequency will always be coming up when you push the buttons.

So, hope this may help a few who are hooked on band stacking registers as I am.
