The two tips I might offer are: (1) lockout all the bands you won't be using with the BND MAP function. The WARC bands as a minimum. Just makes it nicer when QSYing from one band to another. (2) Load the K3 utility and your field day config file on the computer you will be using. Just in case something really goes south and you need to recover rig settings quickly.
