For Pete's sake gentlemen, Wayne has stated that whatever is done will be menu driven, so if you don't want it, don't use it. It sounds like a lot of people could use the extra warning if the number of UP UP UPs on K1N was any indication. The conversation should now be concerned with the best way to achieve the warning. Be thankful that you have input to the decision. I don't see any other major manufacturer of Ham gear giving you the opportunity to influence the no-charge changes to your equipment.
