All: Thanks for the input. I've determined that I do indeed have a problem with the 4 port serial card. Thus, before going any further here, I'm going to run some tests and see about getting the ports working properly.

If you have a second monitor and display that program on the second monitor the program will not show up on the main monitor even if the second monitor is missing.
